The Sidney Fine Art Show kicks off the celebration on October 16, 17 & 18.
ArtSea Festival returns Oct. 16 – 25th. Each October over 400 artists from across Vancouver Island converge in Sidney, BC for a 10-day celebration of arts and culture.Please visit www.sidneyfineartshow.ca for further details.
Paint/Wine Night – Saturday, October 17th 6:30 – 9:30 at the Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre in Sidney. Get those creative juices flowing and join us in a fun evening of painting and wine. Local artist and arts instructor Odette Laroche will lead you in creating your own masterpiece. Wine complements the evening along with the musical entertainment by local guitarist John Mortenson. You will leave with a finished painting. All art supplies included. Tickets : $40 - Drinks purchased separately.
The ArtSea Gala Fundraiser on Wednesday, October 21, 7 pm in the Charlie White Theatre at the Mary Winspear Centre. Several Peninsula arts organizations donate time and talent in an unforgettable musical and dance journey. Proceeds benefit the ‘Arts in the Schools' program. Artist and Business Pairings - During the Festival, over 40 businesses in and around Sidney will host local artists as they give demonstrations and display their artwork.
