"Behind Bars": Prisoner Artwork and Contemporary Art and Literature on the British Columbia Penitentiary

Behind Bars is an exhibit of both archival and contemporary work on the topic of the British Columbia Penitentiary. The work includes prisoner artwork from the Anthony Martin BC Penitentiary Collection (soon to be opening in the basement of the Old Courthouse Cultural Centre) as well as contemporary art and literature from BC artists and writers. Behind Bars will be showing from May 3rd till June 15th in the Arnica Artist Run Centre, Kamloops Old Courthouse Cultural Centre #7 West Seymour St. The opening reception will be held at 6:00pm on May 10th.
