The Gallery of BC Ceramics proudly hosts an exhibition featuring contributions from the province’s finest ceramic artists. View the work of talented creators Laurie Rolland, Geoff Searle, Cathi Jefferson and others. Diversity is the hallmark of the collection, with each participating artist contributing different aesthetics and techniques. Some pieces are burnished, saggar fired and smoke fired, some provide examples of the most effective use of crawl glazes, some are wood fired, some are salt fired. All are unique and incredibly skilfully executed.

Despite the variety in the range of work, the unifying element is the spirit of our province’s natural beauty – fern and arbutus themes, the incorporation of organic materials in the glazing process, marine and woodland motifs... An ethos of ocean , mountain, forest and the wonders of our environment are epitomised in these fine ceramic pieces.
