Barbara Edwards Contemporary, Calgary is pleased to present a solo exhibition of prints and drawings by famed Montreal artist, Betty Goodwin (1923-2008). Goodwin’s “emotionally charged figurative art”, as critic Robert Storr has described, expresses the vulnerable and transitory nature of the human condition. The evocative power of Goodwin’s images makes tangible the invisible reality of life’s fragility.
