This group exhibition features artworks by Alberta artists who focus on ceramic production. Between Things: Alberta Ceramics looks at the ceramic object in relation with the world around it and follows three main three interconnected conceptual threads: the ceramic object in relation to itself, including surface treatment and glazes; the ceramic object in relation to its surroundings and how it interacts with its environment including walls, floors, and surfaces; the ceramic object in relation to the body, including both how ceramic objects are used in daily lives and more unexpected playful ways to interact with ceramics.
