The Alberta Society of Artists invites all Alberta artists (must be 18 years or older) to submit to the upcoming exhibition, The Artist’s Lens 2024: Body, displayed in the ASA Lower Gallery in Calgary, coinciding with the 2024 Exposure Photography Festival. The Artist's Lens is our annual open photography show, January 5 - February 24, 2024.

Deadline for Submissions is Monday, November 14, 2023.

Artists are asked to explore the idea of ‘Body’. This could be a body of water, a body of work, the human body, nobody, somebody, etc. This idea is open to interpretation and can be expressed in many different photographic-related mediums.

All submissions must have a photographic element or connection to photography as this exhibition will be participating in the Exposure Photography Festival. Mixed media collage, digital prints, photomanipulation, etc. are allowed. Framed artwork must not be larger than 36” in any direction nor smaller than 12” in any direction.
