The North Vancouver Community Arts Council is currently accepting submissions for our Art in the Community Programme for 2013. This exhibition programme takes place at two venues: The District Foyer Gallery in the District Municipal Hall; and The District Library Gallery in the Lynn Valley Main Library. It invites visual artists in all medium including painting, photography, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics, wood and metal work. Successful candidates will be booked with an eight week exhibition at one of these high profile venues, complete with an opening reception and broad based promotion. Curatorial staff at the NVCAC will determine which venue is best suited for each of the qualifying artists

This programme is facilitated by the North Vancouver Community Arts Council in partnership with the District of North Vancouver and the District Lynn Valley Main Library. It is designed to enable emerging artists to gain exposure and experience the professional orchestration and hanging of a show in a public environment, celebrating and promoting artists and exposing the public to art in non-traditional environments.
