On Saturday, June 1st, 2013 the City of Victoria Youth Council and the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria will present CalliGraffiti: Get the Poets Painting! Calligraffiti brings together youth poets and artists from across Victoria to craft a poem celebrating the importance of the arts to youth. With the assistance of artist, Cameron Kidd, the group will use the poem to create a mural on the Moss St. wall of the Art Gallery. Come see the poets paint from 10 – 3 on Saturday, June 1st. There will be an opening celebration at 3pm with refreshments and youth poetry readings.
