CENNTENIAL EXHIBITION CELEBRATES PORT MOODY
Blackberry Artist’s Society presents an exhibit of artwork inspired by pages of the Port Moody Museum’s ‘Tracks in Time’ Centennial Book.
The Port Moody based Blackberry Artist’s Society has once again teamed up with a source of local inspiration and is offering up their visual responses in their “Centennial Exhibition”.
The exhibition can be viewed at the Civic Centre Galleria from Monday September 8th through Friday September 20th, 2013 during building open hours.
Eleven members of the society have created one-of-a-kind works directly inspired from pages in the Museums' book. Works range from painting, ceramics, and stained glass to drawing and intarsia.
The Blackberry Artist’s Society is an active artist cooperative of 22 local artists. The society independently operates the only artist run gift shop in Port Moody (located inside of the Port Moody Arts Centre, 2425 St. Johns Street, Port Moody), and they are very active in the community year round.
Save the date: Annual Christmas Marketplace Exhibition Opening reception Thursday November 14th 6pm.
