Cheryl Feragen: "As the Flowers Unfold"

Each flower is unique, yet flowers are ubiquitous. There is mystery in their perfection, from a young bud to a seed, from stem to petal to stamen. Flowers turn and bend and unfold to reveal their delightful surprise inside. They are magical to observe and wonderful to paint. I endeavor to capture light and shadows, and depth and movement in my compositions to render flowers’ exquisite qualities. I try to give each viewer of my paintings a little gift of a flower and hopefully a treasure.
