Artist Statement
The sky, the trees, the houses, the streets, the rain, the wind, and certainly, the light and shade..., all of these are the immediate surroundings that I observe often as an enjoyment of my little discovery. They are my inexhaustible supply of inspiration, leads me to transform my visual experience onto the canvas, while seeking to convey the quality of a moment; something ephemeral and intangible, turn it into something solid. It becomes my way of reasoning with the world; comprehending the sense of place, preserving the essence of a specific moment, or more of into an expression of emotional distance between experience and longing.
