“The men seek the light in a fragile garden where the colors shiver” - Jean Tardieu
A self-taught painter, Claudette has exhibited in galleries across Canada since 1979. Known for painting with spontaneity, sensitivity, and humour she has created a distinct style that is recognizably hers. This latest collection is no exception as Claudette expands her repertoire of inspiration using a pastel colour palette and her vivid imagination. Ready for spring and the warmer days ahead she captures flowers in bloom, rolling countryside villages and bustling parties. Her reflections of Quebecois style and elegance put that ever-elusive je ne sais quoi on canvas.
