David Diviney Artist Talk

Artist David Diviney, whose sculptures feature in the exhibition Hide (May 23rd - August 23rd, 2014), will be at the EAGM to talk about his work on Thursday, 31st July at 7pm. Diviney's practice centres around his interest in hunting paraphernalia, the rural and its representation in popular culture. His DIY-meets-Dada process manifests in sculpture made from readily-available consumer items from hardware stores, and even found taxidermy, producing artworks that are both unsettling and humorous at the same time.
