We are pleased to have the opportunity to exhibit David More’s work at The Edge Gallery – YYC. Since graduation from the Alberta College of Art in 1972, David More has gone on to work as an art history researcher, illustrator, muralist and teacher, but his passion has been always been for painting and drawing, and since 1978 he has been committed full-time to his practice. This new series of figurative work “Shore Figures” painted at Sylvan Lake near his home of Benalto, captures the ‘dog days’ of summer, people watching at the beach.
