Making his Calgary debut at GFA with In From the Cold, David Wilson’s ultra-vivid city dreamscapes offer the warmth of shelter, the promise of spring, and a comforting recess from troubled times. 

David Wilson has established himself among the most prestigious artists in Vancouver. After three decades with more than 20 solo exhibitions in his adopted hometown, Wilson makes his debut at Gibson Fine Art, marking his arrival in the city with In From the Cold, a characteristically sensitive collection of new works that marry the artist’s vivid technique with an interior narrative matured over his 30 years of work.
