Delights of the Soul: A Raft in the Storm

by Five Winnipeg Artists fill PDAC’s Main Gallery

Delights of the Soul: A Raft in the Storm, features five Winnipeg artists who work in acrylic and mixed media: Jordan Miller, Jola Liebzeit, Sari Habiluk, John Izzard and Dan Hawksworth. Each artist brings his or her unique artistic vision and style to this group exhibition. This artistic collection answers the question, “what does it look like?” when you ‘delight’ something as intrinsic as a soul; something that you cannot see, only feel. With 47 unique and individual paintings in this exhibit there is something to delight everyone.

“We savour these moments of undiluted freedom, in whichever frequency and duration they come to us. Each moment, each delight is personal and unique for everyone, but the emotions we feel are the same. They are our rafts in the storm….” Jordan Miller.
