Artists across the vast nation of Canada have created a National identity based on the overwhelming influence of the natural surroundings and recognizable locations. In the 19th and early 20th century artists reflected this theme throughout each diverse region of the country, thus creating a distinct identity to present to the rest of the world. This exhibition includes works by John A. Hammond, Frederic Marlett Bell-Smith, Eric Riordon and Frederick Arthur Verner. Showing alongside this exhibition is careful a selection of fine antiques and objets d’art.
