"An exciting aspect of living in a new part of the world, is that it pulls your artwork in new and unexpected directions. Having felt immersed in West Coast Canadian landscape for the last while, I have had a yearning to revisit the dramatic cityscapes and coastal villages of Europe. This new collection of mixed media pieces is a return to the familiar, exploring the colour and bustle of multiple European cities, as well as the more languid, sun-drenched landscapes and coastal resorts of Italy. As ever, uplifting colour, texture, whimsy, and movement are all key features of my work" - Blythe Scott
