Not Alone As Such by Diana Ohiozebau
RISE Emerging Artist Exhibition
This exhibition reminds us that we all partake in shared humanity that equalizes us irrespective of race, culture, identity, religion, or geographical location. It anchors on themes of community, unity, hope, and how we draw resilience, perseverance, and strength for survival and collective progress as we navigate the harsh realities of life-altering situations. Created with acrylic paint medium, collages of African prints fabrics, and yarn on aso-oke fabric, Diana Ohiozebau’s artwork shows how supporting one another is vital to our existence and survival.
