Explore Toronto's Buildings at Doors Open Toronto presented by Great Gulf
Canada's largest Doors Open event returns May 24- 25, 2014.
The 15th annual Doors Open Toronto will offer free access to 150 architecturally, historically, culturally and socially significant buildings across the city.
The theme for this year's Doors Open Toronto is "Secrets and Spirits… Exploring the Mysteries Behind the Door". Secret spaces and stories exist all over Toronto; from an underground bowling alley in one downtown church and a secret tomb in another to the hidden nooks and crannies in the buildings at the University of Toronto and the little-known ghosts haunting the Historic Distillery District.
This year's event also includes architectural and ghostly walking tours, the Doors Open Speakers Series on current topics in design and architecture, art exhibits at various secret spaces across the city and several new additions to the 2014 building lineup representative of this year's theme.
Doors Open Toronto is dedicated to built heritage, architecture and design attracting more than two million visits to nearly 600 locations throughout Toronto since its inception.
