Brenda Danbrook and Sydney Lancaster both work with memory and identity in their art practices. Memory based art-practice and the experience of memory is multi-sensual, enveloped in spatial ways of understanding our surroundings and the world around us. Memory engages us in an understanding of site, social and body memory and the role of place in memory.
