"Envisioning Women" - A selection of visual art based on Festival Ha’Rikud (Israeli Dance Festival)

This exhibition is a collaboration with Festival Ha’Rikud (an Israeli Dance Festival). The theme for this year’s Festival is “celebrating Nashim”, which in Hebrew means ‘Celebrating Women’. Visual artists will present works based on themes that pay tribute to well-known female characters from the bible, women in history or modern heroines and/or that highlight traditions in various cultures taken on by women or for women.

This exhibition will feature visual art in many different mediums: drawing, painting, mixed media, fibre art, sculpture and photography.
