Esquimalt Lagoon Paint-out and Wet Canvas Show

Painting was an essential part of Sir Winston Churchill's life, and the Sir Winston Churchill Society of Vancouver Island is pleased to provide the annual PAINTING COMPANION AWARD in conjunction with the Coast Collective's Wet Canvas Show.
The award recognizes landscape artists showing an exuberant love of painting that enhances their quality of life while captivating the attention of others. There are around 500 known Winston Churchill paintings around the world. Churchill preferred to paint outside in the sunshine and these are generally the favourite Churchill artworks - however he also painted indoors: landscapes through the window, still-lifes and portraits.
To pre-register to enter the Esquimalt Lagoon Paint-Out, please contact the Coast Collective by email at info@coastcollective.ca or call 250.391.5522 (Wed-Sun, noon to 5:00 p.m.).
