Drawn from the permanent collection of the Mendel Art Gallery, Forced Perspective examines culture and place. Working from miniature to monumental scales, the artists represent the diverse aesthetic traditions contributing to Prairie culture. Included are pioneer paintings by Augustus Kenderdine, carvings by Fred Moulding, and contemporary works by Douglas Walker, Bill Burns, and Janet Werner.
