Fred Herzog: Shadowlands

The Audain Art Museum is proud to announce the first special exhibition of 2017. Opening on January 21, 2017, Fred Herzog: Shadowlands is the next in a series of international calibre experiences for our Members and visitors organized by the Audain Art Museum’s Darrin Martens, Gail and Stephen A. Jarislowsky Chief Curator. 

Shadowlands is an intimate look at a specific body of images executed by the artist that span nearly six decades of artistic practice. A street-photographer pioneer, this exhibition explores how the artist utilizes shadow in developing complex social and cultural narratives within the Vancouver urban environment.
