Visions From Nowhere
Surrealism masters and Cuban painters have had a strong influence on the development of Jose Urbay's style. His new work is the result of interpretations of narratives telling a story of journeys beyond this reality, along with personal insights about love, sadness, magic, and the experience of immigrating to a new land.
Life in Colour
Claire Sower is a contemporary artist based in Vancouver. In Life in Colour, Claire incorporates principals of colour therapy into her vivid, expressionistic florals, instilling an emotional response to the work that gets us thinking about how the simple act of looking at a piece of art - even for a minute - can positively impact our mood.
