In June 2021 the Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library started a project to update our museum database, take new collection images and research all of the BIPoC pieces in the collection in an effort to present BIPoC voices and art.

Many of the pieces we have in our collection were donated in the mid 20th century and background information pertaining to their origins and history was lacking. This exhibit displays some of the BIPoC pieces that our summer intern researched, specifically pieces she found most interesting.
