HitchBOT, the hitchhiking robot, is making its way across Canada, from Nova Scotia to Victoria, one ride at a time. Its journey will end at Open Space. HitchBOT was conceived by Dr. David Smith (McMaster University) and Dr. Frauke Zeller (Ryerson University). “Usually, we are concerned whether we can trust robots. But this project takes it the other way around and asks, Can robots trust human beings?” explains Dr. Zeller. Follow HitchBOT's journey on facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and hitchbot.me.
