Art Placement is pleased to support the community and encourage the next generation of artists by hosting the Grade 8 Students from the Creative Action program at North Park Wilson School as they present their collaborative exhibition, I AM HERE. I AM HUMAN. 

Organized by Sheryl Salen and Seth Peters, and developed in partnership with the Saskatoon Food Bank, the artworks in the exhibition touch upon issues around homelessness, poverty, social justice, and food insecurity that the students have been researching. Non-perishable food donations for the Saskatoon Food Bank will be accepted throughout the run of the exhibition.

“Homelessness is complicated. We all have the things we were told, things we tell others. We all have our own snippet, memories, chapters, experiences. Why do we have to blame someone? It’s because of our system. The system lives in all of us, empowers us, helps us, hurts us, loves us, hates us depending on the side we fall on but we all deserve to live beautiful lives. We all deserve support, kindness, respect, love. We all deserve home. Because we are all human.I am here, I am human”
