Ralph A. Croning is a Winnipeg based (Westwood) landscape photographer who specializes in Infrared Photography. This area of photographic endeavour uses an on-camera filter that enables a digital camera, to capture reflected near infrared light which is otherwise invisible to the human eye. This renders landscapes in a manner that is surreal, dreamlike and otherworldly.

Ralph’s love of photography began when he received his first camera at the tender age of five. Since then, it has grown to a lifelong passion. In 2012, Ralph realized his dream of a solo photo exhibition in which he displayed all areas of photography that interested him which included landscapes, infrared landscapes, nightscapes, macro photography, wildlife and abstracts.
