Inglewood Fine Arts presents an exhibition of new works by Patricia Lortie. The exhibition runs from November 3 to November 18, 2012.
The opening reception with artist in attendance will be held on November 3, 2012 from 1 pm to 5pm.
" This series of work is a witness to life's emotional movements and our unity with our environment. The human forms in the work are in full interaction with their surroundings through color, movement,and transparency. They are inseparable, as we are, from each other and from the rest of the world. They find themselves in never ending motion, as all is in a constant state of change. As people look at the work, I hope they can enter worlds that connect with their own experiences. As they follow the curves within each painting, they might feel the emotions that triggered the work, they might recognize something they have felt before and find themselves lost in the painting for a moment."
