The Inspiration for these paintings is a result of an ongoing fascination with the houses and neighbourhoods of Edmonton, particularly those built before WWII. Each home seems to have it's own personality and wisdom that only time can offer. Even today, it is easy to imagine the type of community that may have existed back then. The process for this body of work involves layering resin and acrylic paint onto birch panel.
