Kari Duke & Tom Gale
to
November 12 - December 3
Opening reception November 12th from 7 to 9pm
Kari Duke and Tom Gale are both known for their beautiful documentation of our city of Edmonton.
Kari Duke lives in a small community near the University surrounded by beauty that is her subject matter. The naked trees in the winter, the deep snow, and the simplicity of the old back alley in changing season is what draws her in time and time again.
Tom Gale's paintings, often of our river valley here in Edmonton, convey a message and mood. Tom's response to his subject matter is emotional and intuitive. His hope is that others will find a sense of commonality and resonance in his work from which they can learn, about themselves and about the land.
