Paul Bryans has been creating artwork and developing his technique for four decades. He is known best for his island landscapes but his work also features abstraction and elements of expressionism. The artist is inspired by the natural world around him as well as inner exploration.

Bryans was born on Vancouver Island but spent his formative years growing up in Haida Gwaii and Nigeria. Now residing on Salt Spring Island Bryans has contributed to many shows and galleries there for the past years. Theses places are reflected in Bryans work contributing to his landscape paintings. Bryans work allows us to slow down and take a minute to breathe.
