This exhibition features new figurative paintings by Regina-based artist Leesa Streifler focused on the female body. In this work, the artist explores social and relational experiences including childhood, sexuality, mothering, and ageing. Streifler is known for her feminist, psychologically-based work where the body is positioned as the reference point for the challenging of conventions and traditional mores.
