Contemporary painter Les Thomas toys with the line between abstraction and representation. An avid fly-fisherman, Thomas is inspired by Alberta's stunning river-ways (including the Bow River) and wildlife he encounters while fishing in our wilderness. These obscured, yet focused compositions are distinctive and captivating.
