Maarten Schaddelee is a sculptor who expresses his deep passion for life through his art. His enthusiasm bursts through his work.
“A few years ago, my wife Nadine and I were in Florence, Italy. Walking through the beautiful narrow streets. We walked past an old stone church and heard gorgeous, young voices coming from inside. They were rehearsing for a concert that night. Of course, we went to the concert. That night I not only heard the music, I saw the music swirl around us. I will never forget the experience. It was a few years later that I remembered that fortunate experience and knew I had to put it in sculpture.
My hands make the voice of my heart visible.” - Maarten Schaddelee
