Michael Huyzer: Mystical Art Exhibition
Artist Statement: Art is something that makes you think. It heals, teaches, surprises, challenges, inspires, excites, calms, illuminates, and connects soul to soul. That is why I do it. In the process, I hope to bring emotions to the surface and share thoughts when people see my art. I try to help people feel inspired, to feel excitement, joy, and experience the calm and beauty of any of my pieces. My paintings are usually in acrylic paint and are mostly representational and abstract. I layer paint in different ways repeatedly them finish with fine detail noticeable up close.
