Darrell Bell Gallery presents new paintings by David Thauberger. Opening Reception Sunday, April 13, 2 to 5 pm.
David Thauberger is known internationally for his paintings of the vernacular architecture and cultural icons of Saskatchewan, including legion halls, quonset huts, false-fronted shops and inner-city bungalows. His many awards and grants include his appointment as a Member of the Order of Canada in 2008, and being awarded the Lieutenant Governors Saskatchewan Artist Award in 2009. In 2012, he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
