Cree Métis Artist, Jason Baerg is a multimedia installation artist whose work current explores Indigenous philosophical relationships with the earth and how this effects us. Baerg’s art-practice is informed by his Aboriginal community values through narrative, colour, and repetition. Pushing international boundaries in digital interventions in drawing, painting and installation, Jason’s work creates a dialogue with the audience through Traditional Indigenous Knowledge bases as it investigates: cosmology, sacred numbers and color theory.
