Hi, my name is Kyle Shewfelt and I am pleased to share with you an exciting project that MOCA is bringing to life later this month.
I was honored to serve on the organizing committee as Calgary’s Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) brought Andy Warhol’s Athlete Series to the city. Having these ten beautiful paintings of ten iconic athletes at MOCA inspired us to create an Athlete Series of our own. We invited ten local artists to paint portraits of ten Canadian athletes and the finished collection is both unique and magical. It is with great excitement that we announce the planned exhibition and sale of this wonderful series of portraits.
