"Our perception of ourselves is what I want to explore. I propose to explore my own background but also interview several other people with backgrounds different from mine and explore their histories. From these histories, I want to create a series of paintings exploring our ‘many selves’. Our past enters our future and shapes us. Every day we intermingle memory with the visible world.
