Protean Lattice: UBC Master of Fine Arts Exhibition 2022
Opening Reception: Thursday, 28 April from 6 to 8 pm
The Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of work by the 2022 graduates of the University of British Columbia’s two-year Master of Fine Arts program: Russell Gordon, Romi Kim, Hannah Möller, Ido Radon and Arti Struyanskiy. This program in the Department of Art History, Visual Art and Theory is limited each year to a small group of four to six artists, who over the two years foster different sensibilities developed within an intimate and discursive working environment. For a tour of the current exhibition, email us at belkin.tours@ubc.ca.
This exhibition is presented with support from the Department of Art History, Visual Art and Theory at the University of British Columbia.
Performance by Tobias Ewé with Ido Radon's ZERO GATE
Friday, May 27 at 4 pm
Artist Ido Radon invites Tobias Ewé to perform in dialogue with her work ZERO GATE (2022), currently on view as part of Protean Lattice: UBC Master of Fine Arts Graduate Exhibition. For this performance, Ewé interprets the numogram as a musical score, performed on analogue synthesizer in response to the technodemonic undercurrents of Radon's sculpture.
