This symposium marks the culmination of Victoria artist Cameron Kidd's public art residency at Open Space. During his residency, Kidd has helped create large-scale, community-based murals that address the need for youth engagement and publicly accessible sites for street art. This interdisciplinary symposium brings together artists, curators, scholars, activists, and citizens to explore the problems and possibilities surrounding street art, public art, and public space in Victoria.
