Regarding Death is a collection of paintings that reflects on contemporary thoughts and trepidations about the process of dying and decay, as well as the revulsion we feel towards the notion of examining and dissecting a corpse. In recent years zombies have held the fascination and imagination of popular culture; according to Binzer, this may be in part due to the fear of death and the horror of corpses. For Binzer, his personal interest in zombies is that they highlight the reality that all of our bodies are in a constant process of decay.
