This edition of the Victoria Score Reading Club features presentations by Christopher Butterfield, Daniel Godlovitch, and George Tzanetakis. The Score Reading Club is an opportunity to come and listen to music you may have never heard before. Collectively, we listen to the music, and discuss elements that fascinate us, puzzle us, and resonate with us in emotional ways. In each session, presenters offer a look to a musical works of their choice. The works are presented and then discussed--revealing new insight and understanding for the pieces. Join us and discover hidden gems or new perspectives through engaging discussion with fellow new music enthusiasts. There is no preparation necessary for attendees and everyone, regardless of musical capabilities, is invited to come and listen--It's like a book club without the homework.
