"Is that a HORSE in the gallery?" -- Solo Exhibition by Shannon Ford, contemporary equine and wildlife artist SHANNON FORD.
With a 25 year artistic past as a metal smith, Shannon Ford explores the incorporating of gemstone powders such as turquoise and lapis lazuli and diamond dust into her acrylic paintings, which sparkle with the electrical and emotional connection between human and horse or deer, bear, or wolf... We have sold Shannon Ford's paintings in our gallery for four years, but this is Shannon Ford's first solo exhibition at The Lloyd Gallery. Shannon has recently had an article in the 2014 Summer edition of ARABELLA magazine and has also just finished a very successful show in La Malbaie, Quebec.
OPENING of show: Friday Sept. 12 @ 7-10pm:
For any collectors not able to come to Penticton for the opening, the exhibition works will be available to preview online as of Sept. 9th. For any collectors living far away and not able to attend, a live video feed will portray the opening linked from our website at www.lloydgallery.com.
