“SIXBYSIX Group Exhibition,” 2024

Opening Reception: Saturday, March 16 from 1-4 pm.

THIS Gallery will host a juried group exhibition entitled SIXBYSIX, consisting of 152  6×6″ works created using a wide array of materials.

The only criteria given to the submitting artists was that the final piece had to be no more than 6 inches wide. They were encouraged to use a 6×6” wooden panel as a starting point. However, they could use it as a traditional 2D surface, flip it and use it as a shadow box, as a support for a sculptural piece or even as a container! They were also told that innovation would be rewarded.

Of course, being creative by nature, many artists were up for the challenge!

155 artists submitted 344 works for consideration. We’ve chosen 152 of our favourites for the exhibition.

All works exhibited at SIXBYSIX will be offered to the public for $300 each. It’s a great opportunity for collectors to purchase an original work of art at an affordable price.
