OPENING RECEPTION: FRIDAY, JUNE 15 7- 9 PM

There will be an artist talk/tour of ‘Ready Player Two’ prior to the opening event from 6:30pm to 7pm – and the opening event for both exhibits from 7 – 9pm – all are welcome – admission is free.

‘Ready Player Two’ (Gallery A) w/ Sonny Assu and Brendan Tang features collaborative and independent works which combine elements from science fiction, comic book, and gaming cultures to consider how these forms alternately reinforce and transcend racial boundaries in youth culture, especially informed by the artists’ respective mixed-race backgrounds and experiences of Canadian life in the 1980’s and 1990’s.
