Join the Alberta Craft Gallery in celebrating our newest SPOTLIGHT exhibition by Ananda Skywalker, Dawn of the Ancient Future.

Ananda Skywalker is a multidisciplinary artist who spends her time living in the mountains of Alberta and British Columbia. She obtained a BFA with distinction from the Alberta University of the Arts in 2021 as a Fibre major, receiving the board of governors graduating student award. She graduated from the fashion design program at the Blanche Macdonald Institute in Vancouver at the turn of the millennium. Her artistic practice is craft based and currently focused on the creation of jewellery inspired by adornment.

Our SPOTLIGHT exhibit highlights work by new Alberta Craft members and members producing experimental work.
